For years now, prosecutors have been fighting to bring Dan Markel’s killers to justice. Katharine Magbanua received a life sentence plus 60 years. Charlie Adelson got life, and his mother — Donna Adelson — recently got a jury verdict from her trial. She was found guilty accross the board. CNN has coverage:
The matriarch of a wealthy South Florida family was convicted Thursday of murder in the killing of her former son-in-law, a prominent law professor who was locked in a bitter custody battle with his ex-wife when he was gunned down in 2014.

When the judge announced that the jury had convicted Adelson of first-degree murder, the defendant exclaimed, “Oh!” and started shaking and crying.

Speculation has already begun on if Wendi Adelson, Dan Markel’s former wife, will also be charged with his murder:
I’m sure there’s at least one person whose job it is to make sure that Wendi doesn’t book any flights to Vietnam.
